West Slope Chest Pack Reviews
I love this. I used it to film my last pheasant hunt. I was able to catch all the action with my phone.
Bought the chest pack first. Wish I would have bought the wilderness kit at the same time since it sold out fast. Got everything put together and love how everything is snug on the chest. Used during rifle elk but can’t wait to use it during archery season as well
This is a must have in hunting accessories. Unlike backpacks, the Chest Pack holds everything you want to carry in the front of your chest for a more comfortable and secure position. Easy access for your concealed carry. Great product!
It’s compact enough to wear skiing but holds a massive amount of stuff.
Can’t wait to go skiing!
I clean Pools for a living this works great for carrying my phone, my wallet, keys etc. Perfect for concealing as well to protect all of my customers.
Stays true to its use. Wear it everytime I go surf fishing. Awesome chest pack.
Best, most convenient action pack for light necessary items, communication equipment, flashlight, cash, credit cards, all the essential items. especially great for skiing/snowboarding where getting on a lift with a backpack is cumbersome. It is amazing that someone didn't think of a front pack sooner!
I love mine so much, I got one for each of my kids also.
This thing is awesome! Hold everything i need it to while running and doing Spartan Races. Only thing i wish is the phone holder was waterproof.
I'm a small framed female and love this pack. Fits well and is snug. I got the water pack and light safety and they're both fantastic. Can carry everything I need for a run / bike / hike that I used to carry in a small back pack.
Water bladder needs a bigger option, front phone pouch when full will not close properly. plastic ring on right shoulder needs to be moved to left, interferes with rifle butt. binocular case is small and only fits narrow bino. needs a pistol holster option.
The chest pack has worked beautifully for archery season keeps full range of motion to draw back a compound bow
The pack is actually really awesome. Quality design, durable construction, the adjustability was well thought out. However I have a 54" chest. So when the camera was in the pocket, it only viewed the beautiful California sunset skies. Which is grand but I wanted tjis to be able to record my walks with my Shiba, some people think its totally chill to let their 120lb dog off leash in a public space when it does not listen to its owner. Fun! So I was looking fir a way to record my walks with my dog in case anything happens. While this didnt work out, tye pack is badass and as long as you arent born with German and Dane in your genes, and weigh less than 280, this rig is badass. Most normal shaped humans would fit this thing great. Im bummed it didnt work out for me. But a solid piece of gear, worth every penny.
Used it hiking and elk hunting. Worked perfectly.
The water camelback was better than expected. Weight evenly distributed. Would recommend
As a new bow hunter I wanted a way to carry essentials without a large, clunky pack. This exceeded expectations and was everything I was looking for!
I purchased this pack as a gift for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. While hunting in Texas, he found it to be both practical and highly convenient. I’ve since ordered an additional accessory to accommodate his pistol for his upcoming trip to Montana. Knowing he’ll have quick and secure access to his gear gives me peace of mind, especially with the presence of mountain lions and wolves in the area. The ease of access is truly essential.
I got this pack for my husband for his birthday. I will be adding a couple of add-ons. He got the bigger one so that he could put his big handgun upfront but it’s perfect for phones knives it’s perfect for a lot of things. It’s just a good gift.
I was tired of my phone, wallet, keys, and chapstick banging around in my pockets. The PRO-180X fixed that. From day hikes, my morning walk, or walking around Disneyland, this is the way to go. My items are snug to my body and super easy to access. Backpacks are good, but this is better!
I really put this vest to the test right out of the box. received it 2 days after I ordered it and a week before my hunt. I didn’t have time to evaluate all the options for additional configurations until I was using it. I wore it on a solo 7 day mule deer hunt in California. I maxed it out daily with a full water bladder, binos, a 3 inch 1911 and a G7 ballistic range finder in the chest pocket, a Leupold LTO tracker and a kestrel in the attachable pouches , phone, snacks, wipes, and my tags and pen! The vest was so comfortable I’d forget I had it on. Now I did fuss with it the first day or two. The elastic side straps kept loosening. Once I adjusted the ride height on the shoulder straps to balance the weight (wear it high on my chest) they stayed put. Now I was locked in. It would baffle my mind at the end of the day when I’d take it off that it weighed so much. I never noticed the weight once I had it locked in. A rifle sling fits comfortably over the shoulder straps and they seemed to help with sling fatigue. I’m going to utilize the eyelets and lace it with elastic band to increase its storage for game bags and clothing layers. I’m sure it’ll take to it just fine. Now it was pricy, but is quality. Is it a generational vest, I don’t know. But I know I’ll get a lot of years out of it.
This pack is great for horseback riding. I purchased the hydration bag as well and it carries everything i need for a day trip. The slim design is not in the way when I mount and dismount. It’s so easy to take pictures and video while I’m riding. I’m very happy with this purchase.
Great for hunting, carrying my gun and my phone was very easy because of some tight areas
