West Slope Chest Pack Reviews
Haven’t had a chance to really use it yet but looks well made and fits. Got it with the removable holster and water bladder.
I really like the concept of this and it works great a lot of room to place things in but what I don't like is the radio pouch and the pouch for bear spray it's not secure very well it moves around a lot I would like that to be a little bit more stable but overall I really like it.
Great pack, super well made, very utilitarian. Cant ask for more.
Let me start of by saying I have MANY different packs and bags for multiple different purposes. I got the West Slope Slim because it fits most of my needs for running, biking, and hiking while adding minimal weight. I can carry my phone, wallet, keys, snack, and other small items without having a pocket full of stuff. I also purchase the water pack and gun holster. The water pack is great, gun holster is alright, but the slim pack doesn’t fit my Sig P365 or Glock 43x very easily.
Now for the flaw. Fit and finish is awesome except for the shoulder straps. The ends of the straps on top the shoulder have sharp corners, so they can definitely scratch your neck, head, and shoulders when putting the pack on and removing. A simple chamfer design change would completely eliminate that. Other than that, (and a fairly steep price tag) I’m happy with my purchase!
You never know when you buy something online, but this bag is definitely as advertised and VERY useful!!!!
All my essential for hunting fit i will still carry my backpack but it will be nice too get all the things out of my pockets all I can say I would change on it would go too a slightly more robust zipper for the main compartment otherwise a solid rig
After assembling all of the accessories, since I ordered the hunters pack, and putting the binoculars on, I found tried the range finder on either side as was suggested. I attempted to remove the range finder and put it away. Since I am an archery hunter, this is needing to be done with bow in hand, and that proved difficult. I was not able to get the rangefinder out without having to put my bow down, same with putting it away, impossible is an apt description. Since movement is key to archery hunting, or more specifically the lack of movement, this makes using the rangefinder and pouch not very effective. I will be putting my rangefinder in the pocket for accessories or not on the pack at all. Since I have not put any of this to use in the field, there's bound to be changes and adjustments. I will make a follow up after this season if I remember.
Love this chest pack my only concern was will it interfere with my Crossbow hunting. To my joy it has no negative effects on it at all, it only brings more positives.
Gets the job done. I recommend it to any adventurous person.
I needed something light to carry my phone, keys, snacks and water without lugging around a bick back pack and this is the perfect solution. Extremely satisfied with this purchase!
Overall it is a good system. Keeps close to the chest, does not move around a lot. The access to various pockets is pretty good as well. My couple of issues is first and foremost: The holster set up. Not a big fan of a single band of Velcro to keep it in place. The access to the CCW area is a bit of a reach in a flash moment. The holster could also use a wider band to hold your pistol in place. I picked this size because I did not want a gigantic bag in front of me, but I also did not want too small of a bag to hold whatever I wanted or needed to carry. There is not enough room for extra mags or a 20oz bottle of water. The lower pouch is a bit tight as well, almost unable to carry a wallet and credentials at the same time.
Zippers are OK, metal I think would be better for the amount of use they are going to get. But the bag is, as of this moment, put together well and does not look like it will deteriorate as soon as my BullDog bag did. I have used it 3 times to date, and it does cause a bit of warmth when out on a bike as you have a wind blocker on your chest. But it stays where it is put. Adjustments are various and so far have worked well for my particular situation. I am happy with the bag, it is an improvement over my last several sling bags in some aspects, but it leaves me with the inability to carry extra mags unless I leave out wallets. Cell phone stash is very nice tho, as it makes for easy reach in situations where you need quick access. Overall, a good bag, just not great. But I would buy it again, especially if they added a mag pouch or 2.
This product is great. Works great for my dirt bike adventures hold all my stuff safely!

I own a few chest rigs. This one is the best made and accessible one. Wish I would've ordered the pro and not the slim
Fantastic, easy to use product for carrying personal effects on the motorcycle. I wish the light kit was brighter, and some corner seams on the shoulder straps could be improved (remove “sharp” corners from the sewing process) but other wise the storage is great and it’s a well suited product.
Love the Pro 180 Slim from West Slope! The only thing I’d change is adding straps to hold the phone pouch at a 90-degree angle. I use it for paramotoring and it’s perfect for safely checking my phone in flight without any risk of dropping it. The camera window also makes it easy to capture some great videos.
I thought it was an amazing bag but it didn’t check all the boxes for me. It most definitely does not accommodate a G19, I mean it will fit but won’t deploy when needed. In my opinion it’s not a good ccw option all around. Maybe kinda a micro carry would work but that’s not what it’s designed around. It’s an adventure pack.
My husband loves this! I got it for him for his birthday and he’s used it for every thing he can since! Not just for dirtbike rides but when he goes fishing or goes out in the boat. He love that he can always be filming POV with his phone when he’s wearing his pack
