West Slope Chest Pack Reviews
I wear it ever day, and have reviewed it a few times on my podcast on YouTube and Patreon. It’s everything I’ve ever hoped for in terms of a carry pack. Will always recommend and push it.
Review: PRO-180 Slim Chest Pack
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
I have been using the PRO-180 Slim Chest Pack for a while now, and it has been absolutely great. My primary reason for getting this was to have a secure, hands-free way to carry my two cell phones, and it handles that task perfectly.
Despite holding two devices, the profile remains incredibly slim and comfortable against the chest. It doesn't feel bulky or get in the way of my daily activities, and accessing my phones is quick and easy. If you need a reliable, streamlined pack to keep your essentials close at hand without weighing you down, I highly recommend this one. I am thoroughly enjoying using it so far!
I purchased the PRO-180 Slim Check Pack and it works great. Light weight and easy to put on. I do recommend that the straps at the shoulders be better sewn. The section where the vest is cut to allow the adjustable strap has a rough, hard, squared edge. Rounding this off would prevent the strap from digging into the chest by the arms during the run. I run long miles and my arms get pretty torn up by the end. Otherwise this is a pretty solid product.
I wore this on my body from NJ to Utah and back!
From the canyonlands heat to the chest height deep waters of the narrows it did so great and I got so many compliments! I ran its configurations and what I kept on me a bit different from others and loved it!
I've been eyeing those item for some time. It's exactly what I needed to make my walks much more convenient.
I love the fit and the functionality; it’s light and is too easy to use. The mouthpiece of the water bladder hose that allows me to turn the flow of water on and off and the bite down valve on the nozzle to be able to suck water when I’m ready to drink prevents leaks and is easy to use while running. My favorite feature is the magnetic flip down pouch that allows me to manipulate my phone (while I’m running) to use phone apps that help with exercise. I definitely recommend this for runners.
Product is so good I ordered 2 and have others ordering. Holds phone great and video recording is very clear.
I love the magnet and the camo it seems to be made out of good material.
Definitely passed my expectations, will be ordering another color soon !
Great quality of Big Bang for your book. Only downside is that it is not waterproof so anything in the bag gets soaked also, there are corners near your neck that can get annoying after hours of wearing
Love my real tree camo chest Rig. The slim is very nice but I prefer my 180X for storage for a long day hunting. My girlfriend uses the slim and it is just right for her, we're huge fans of the west slope line up. I highly recommend all of the west slope gear, you should buy yours today, you won't regret it!
I really like this pack. It is well made. Nice pouch for phone and camera. The water bladder works really well. I have not use the riding lights but they are cool too.
I’ve used a vortex binocular chest rig and looked into Eberlestocks chest rig, but they all have an issue, which is balance. They don’t help your body really balance the weight well. They become very front heavy after many miles. This is the first rig I’ve worn that has the balance I’m looking for. I’m a huge fan of this. There’s a lot of care and refinement that went into this. Thoughtful gun storage and phone storage. This is a big win. I’m very happy with the quality. I bought it while a little tipsy, but I did not regret it once I got my hands on it.
My Samsung s24 fit perfectly in the phone slot. I used the camera to film an off road dirtbike ride. It was great quality. Not shaky like I thought it might be. My Rugar LCP II fits perfectly in the compartment behind the phone. Any larger pistol will also fit, but not in a way that it would be easy to pull out quickly. Im also planning on using it this upcoming hunting season. Im pleased with it overall, and would definitely purchase again!
Preparing for a week camping in glacier national Park was what made this catch my attention. The convenience to store your concealed carry comfortably as well as the quick and easy access to a GPS and bear spray. Haven’t used it hiking yet, but tried it with biking and I was quite impressed with how much I can carry with me that was easily accessible while riding. Bladder sack was awesome to have while on the go and easy access to my phone instead of risk falling out of my pocket while riding. Only con was the phone being overheated in the phone pouch, but that was because I was biking at 97° weather and playing music that made the phone really work. Overall satisfied with the convenience of this pack. Can’t wait to try it on a hike.
I purchased this visit to use at work to hold my cell phone and other items. I should have gotten it in a medium instead of a small size. My only dislike is: 1. My cell phone gets stuck in the holder because of my rubberized protective case. 2. The button to secure the phone holder is too small, and I have a hard time getting it lined up. 3. It would have been nice to have a better way to store the extra strap, like Velcro, or make something hold it.
Bought this pack to film while trail riding my dirt bike and it works great, has plenty of room for keys, wallet, etc.
Great product and very happy with my purchase!
Expensive! For that much money I expected a better strap. If you use it for concealed carry, it gets weighted down and the straps are not very comfortable.
We went to Washington DC for freedom250i ordered one for my wife before we left. Worked like a champ!! The bladder kept her hydrated and kept our chargers and wallets safe and she was not searched by security.
